I have really enjoyed getting to know some modern masters like Kandinsky better by painting small bits of their larger works.  Sometimes the shapes take on new meaning for me, like this circle from Kandinsky's Circles of Squares.  It keeps whispering to me that it's actually a rose! I am getting closer to having my first batch of 50 paintings done for Art-o-mat, and am working on a Art-o-mat portfolio page here on this blog.  It's a work in progress, but if you check back soon, you'll see the final version.
