• itunes podcasts on Kandinsky's book, written in 1912, Concerning the Spiritual in Art.
• Book on the Bauhaus School.  This book is an excellent nonfiction work about many of the major artists of the 20th century.
• The Noisy Paintbox.  This children's book explains simply and beautifully how the artist heard colors (synaesthesia).
